I especially love Meadowlark for engagement sessions and families with young children because there are so many beautiful areas within a short walking distance. Every season offers something unique, making it a wonderful location year-round.

Old Town Alexandria

For couples who love history and a more classic city feel, Old Town Alexandria offers endless possibilities. The cobblestone streets, waterfront views, historic architecture, and colorful storefronts create a backdrop that feels both elegant and relaxed.

This location is perfect for engagement sessions and for families who want a little variety in their gallery without traveling between multiple locations. You can capture waterfront views, charming streets, and beautiful architecture all within a single session.

Manassas National Battlefield Park

One of my favorite locations for families and couples who love open space is Manassas Battlefield. The rolling fields, tall grasses, and beautiful golden light create a natural setting that photographs beautifully during every season. It offers plenty of room for children to run and play naturally while also creating stunning portraits filled with warmth and connection.

Morven Park

For those looking for a location that combines natural beauty with timeless elegance, Morven Park is a wonderful choice. Located in Leesburg, this historic estate features beautiful gardens, open fields, wooded trails, and stunning historic architecture.

As someone who loves horses myself, I especially appreciate the equestrian history woven throughout the property. The variety of backdrops makes Morven Park a beautiful option for both engagement sessions and family portraits.

Shenandoah National Park

If you’re willing to travel a little farther, Shenandoah National Park offers some of the most breathtaking mountain views in Virginia.
